Purpose of Position The primary purpose of this position is to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments.
Scope of Responsibility Cath Lab Techs will perform special radiographic procedures and catheterizations according to policy and procedures, Scrub and assist physicians with radiology procedures and catheterizations, and operate Angiography and or Cath Lab system, injectors, PACS and ultrasound machine.
Other duties include scheduling appointments, reviewing physician's interpretations and patient files, monitoring patient's heart rates, operating and caring for testing equipment, explaining test procedures, and reviewing findings to identify problems.
Job Requirements High school graduate or equivalent Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider, within 90 days of hire At least 2 years of interventional Cath Lab experience preferred Graduate of an accredited school of radiology and current registration with the State of Texas and ARRT Formal cardiovascular technology training preferred 3 or more years in a general hospital setting required Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
