Purpose of Position The primary purpose of this position is to answer a multi-line switchboard and transfers calls to the appropriate department.
Scope of Responsibility As a PBX Operator you will be responsible for supplying information to callers and keeping a record of calls placed.
Other duties include processing and announcing Alerts/Codes/Rapid Response calls, monitoring emergency alarm and security systems and responding to emergency situations impacting the environment of the facility.
PBX Operators provide excellent customer service while also maintaining documentation systems, completing documentation during shift and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1 year experience working a multi-line telephone system in a healthcare setting preferred Familiar with medical terminology preferred Excellent telephone etiquette skills, speaks clearly, calmly and with appropriate volume for situation required Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office programs:
Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer required Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently Applies excellent judgement in decision making and excellent ability to multi-task .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
