Marketing/Bid Coordinator

Job Details:


Under general supervision, performs marketing, sales and customer service duties in support of sales and sales operations.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Coordinates bid review, responsible for accurate bid submission, manages award.
Manages demo equipment calendar.
Manages dealer agreement process.
Provides customer service on wholegoods.
Coordinates tractor registration between the end user and tractor vendor.
Assists Territory Sales Managers.
Attends governmental buyer shows to build relationships and learn our customer buying trends and to pick up on upcoming changes.
Maintains accurate sales, contract and agreement files.
Assists in order entry when needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Communicates well verbally and in writing.
Proficient in maintaining the company contact database.
Demonstrates good organizational skills.
Ability to anticipate a cause and effect and work through to an acceptable solution.
Good listener.
Capable of speaking and instructing large groups.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; or a combination of education and/or work experience.
2 years' experience working with governmental business preferred.
Special Skills / Knowledge: Demonstrated skill of being creative and thinking beyond the task at hand
Preferred Qualifications and
Experience: Minimum 2 years locating, tracking, reviewing and responding to governmental bids. Minimum 2 years creating detailed reports, bringing information in from several sources to create reports.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
